Developing indifference

This article examines the social impacts of urban change among a generation people for whom it is norm: youth in Beijing, where decades redevelopment have led to large-scale demolition older neighborhoods and perpetually changing cityscape. Drawing twelve months ethnographic fieldwork, I explore extent which these accustomed digitalized home lifestyles, experience lack environs, illustrate how feelings be articulated.
